2009 йил 19-25 октябр кунлари дунё бўйича италян тили ҳафталиги бўлиб ўтиши муносабати билан университетимиз талабаларининг италян тилига бўлган қизиқишлари ва Италия халқи, маданияти ҳамда урф-одатлари тўғрисидаги билимларини янада мустаҳкамлаш мақсадида университетимизда италян тилидан дарс бериб келаётган Италия фуқароси Антоанетта Гоббис раҳбарлигида “Италия санъати, илм-фани ва техникаси” мавзусида фотокўргазма ўтказилди, мазкур фотокўргазманинг очилишига Ўзбекистондаги Италия Республикасининг фавқулотда ва мухтор элчиси Джованни Риччулининг иштирок этди.

On 15th of May, 2009 by initiative of the Consular of Greece in Moscow there was a visit of the Coordinator of the Consular of Greece in Moscow Polikseni Khronopulu. The Purpose of the visit was a familiarization with the centre of the Greek language situated on the Faculty of English Philology.

On the April 21st, 2009 the Delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education of Republic of Malaysia made a visit to our University. In composition of the Delegation were Chief Deputy of the Head of the Department of Marketing and International Education Van Haniza Mohamed, and the Second Deputy of the Head of this Department Nur Marlin Ahmad Rudzi.

On the 2nd of March, 2009 by the initiative of the Indian Embassy in the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Faculty of English Philology there was a festival presentation devoted to the Day of India. In the festival took part Head of the Indian Cultural Centre after L.B. Shastri at the Embassy of the India in the Republic of Uzbekistan Bhragva Mitra and dance leader of the Cultural Centre doctor Randzha.

On the 27th of March by initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Malaysia in the Republic of Uzbekistan there was a meeting between the Rector of our University and Ambassador of the Republic of Mexico in the Republic of Uzbekistan Arturo Fernandez Basave.

On the 18th of November, 2008 by initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Republic of Uzbekistan was a meeting between the Rector of the Uzbek State University of World Languages and Councilor for International Relations of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Eisa Abdullah Aleisa.

On the 3th of September 2008 by initiative of the Embassy of Turkey in the Republic of Uzbekistan there was an Opening Ceremony of the Turkish language center, in which participated Rector of the Uzbek State University of World Languages, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Uzbekistan Kemal Asya and Head of the Agency for International Cooperation Ihsan Chomak.
