Uzbek State World Language University (USWLU) took its roots in 1949 year as Tashkent pedagogical foreign languages university. University has a – 74 – year history.
In 1992 Tashkent pedagogical world languages university and Russian language and literature universities accompanied with each other and officially called Uzbek State World Language University.
