A webinar on "Prospects of international cooperation" was held.

On April 3, 2024, a webinar on "Prospects of International Cooperation" was held with the participation of the managers and responsible employees of the Spanish and Uzbekistan Higher Education Institutions.

At the event, the rector of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, prof. Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov made a short speech and emphasized that it is time to implement the agreements reached within the framework of the "Spain-Uzbekistan rectors' forum" held at the University of Cadiz on November 23-24, 2023.

At this event, heads and responsible employees of HEIs of Uzbekistan, director of the Spanish Higher Education Internationalization Service (SEPIE) organization, Dr. Alfonso Gentil, deputy director of this organization, Fatima Terol, and leaders of leading higher education institutions of the Kingdom of Spain took part. During the webinar, which lasted more than 2 hours, the leaders of prestigious Spanish universities such as Alicante, Sevilla, Granada, Jaen, Salamanca, Valladolid, Almeria and the heads of the Euro-Arab Foundation made presentations about the activities of their educational institutions and put forward proposals for cooperation.

The participants of the webinar agreed to continue the dialogue and determine the perspectives of cooperation at the meetings to be held in Tashkent and Samarkand on April 15-16, 2024.
