According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed in February 2023, representatives of Al-Wadi University of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria are on their visit to Uzbekistan from the date of October 14, 2023.

On October 16, the rector of UzSWLU, professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov received the rector of Al-Wadi University, Omar Farkhati, vice-rector for foreign relations, cooperation, communication and scientific affairs, Elkhabib Guyedda, University general secretary Chouki Medellel and held a dialogue with them.

The meeting was attended by rector of UzSWLU I. Tukhtasinov, vice-rector for international cooperation A. Abidjanov, head of the international relations department H. Yuldashev, dean of the translation Faculty U. Yoldashev, head of the Department of Arabic language translation theory and practice, K. Kadirova and associate professor of the department A. Zubaydi.

The heads of the two universities presented information about the universities. Within the framework of the visit, introduction to simultaneous interpretation practice rooms of the Department of Arabic Language of Translation Faculty, IRC and meetings with students of Arabic Language groups and the teachers of the university were organized.

At the meeting with the students of the Arabic language groups and the teachers of the Department of Translation Theory and Practice of the Arabic Language, they made a presentation about Al-Wadi University and its activities and held a round discussion. As a result of the negotiations, they agreed to sign a contract and gifts were exchanged.
Reminding that the representatives of Al-Wadi University are scheduled to be in our country until October 19.
