Day of National Values"

The "Day of National Values" festival was held on October 28 by the Uzbekistan StateWorld Languages University and the primary organization of the University Youth Union in order to promote nationalism among students.

Within the framework of the festival, the events "National costumes", "National sport", "National dance", "National song", and "National food" were organized.

At the beginning of the event, the rector of the university, Ilhomjon Tokhtasinov, called on students to respect national values and strive to preserve our national identity. He highlighted a number of reforms that are being implemented in our country today in order to preserve our national values.

After that, they got acquainted with the cooking processes taking place within the framework of the "National Food" event.

The students performed songs reflecting our national traditions. Stage performances and wrestling competitions were organized.

The Palovs cooked by the students were evaluated honestly by the jury.

At the end of the event, the "Foreign language and literature" faculty of "Foreign language and literature" won the 3rd place, the faculty of English philology won the 2nd place, and the Oriental philology won the 1st place.
