In accordance with paragraph 4 of the statement No. 24 of the extended mobile meeting of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation held on March 16, 2024 in Fergana, working groups were formed under the leadership of rectors of higher education institutions, drafts of normative legal documents were developed, and within two weeks, higher education , was assigned to the Ministry of Science and Innovation to create a Working Group on improving the system of teaching foreign languages in higher education institutions.

According to this task, on March 30, a meeting was held at the State University of World Languages of Uzbekistan through the ZOOM platform. The meeting was attended by the Rector of UzDJTU I. Tukhtasinov and officials related to the agenda.

Existing problems and proposals in teaching foreign languages in higher education institutions, personnel supply, scientific potential, teachers' certificates, curriculum, curriculum and textbooks, processes related to literature, the state of students' acquisition of foreign languages and their problems, professional development of professors and teachers, abroad professional development activities, teaching of foreign languages in the continuing education system, cooperation between higher education institutions and schools, consistency in the educational process and other cooperation, the effectiveness of joint educational programs in the field of foreign languages, new experiences, foreign experiences in foreign language training, foreign language teaching in the Republic, high-quality issues such as specific proposals for bringing personnel training issues to a new level took place on the agenda of the meeting.
