Meeting

Yesterday, an event was held at the 5th Dormitory at the initiative of Z. Bannopova and M. Aripova, advisers of the dean of women and girls' issues of the Faculty of English Philology and the 1st Faculty of English of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University. The event was in the frame of themes "Prevention of oppression and violence, issues of gender equality and social protection of victims of oppression and violence" and named "I am against violence".
Lieutenant colonel D. Abdurakhmonov of the Information Technology Department of the Internal Affairs Department of the Tashkent city, inspectors for women's issues of the Uchtepa District Internal Affairs Department, G. Khakimova, R. Mursalimova attended at the event. They gave detailed information and necessary recommendations about the issues of gender equality and how to apply when violence and harassment are committed against 1st-year female students.
At the end of the event, students received answers to their questions.
