On November 8, Bruno Buani, a teacher of Paris Sorbonne 3 University of France, visited the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology of UzSWLU in order to improve the quality of French language teaching in educational institutions of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the dean of the faculty H. Hakimov, the deputy dean for scientific innovation and international relations A. Khalillayev, the head of the department of theoretical sciences of the French language G. Rakhimova and the senior teacher G. Masharibov attended.
During the negotiations, the dean and deputy dean of the faculty made an offer to Bruno Buani to hold master classes for teachers on teaching students the French language and, since B. Buani is originally from Brazil, to assist in teaching Portuguese along with the 17 languages taught at UzSWLU.
From November 2023 to May 30, 2024, B. Buani is scheduled to organize French language and culture courses for the preparation of international C1 (DALF C1) certificate for professors and teachers of the Department of Theoretical Sciences of the French Language as a volunteer.
