Today, the rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, met with the US Embassy in Uzbekistan and a group of guests from the US

The rector of the university received Haris Lipscomb and Hamid Inamkhodjaev, specialists from the public diplomacy department of the US Embassy in Uzbekistan, as well as Klahar Deniz, a professor at the University of Miami, USA, who visited the university for 1 year to conduct practical training on the basis of the Fulbright program.
In the meeting the rector of the university, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, the vice-rector of international cooperation, Alisher Abidzhanov, the head of the department of international relations, Kh. Yuldashev, and the dean of the Faculty of Philology, S. Ziyaeva are participating.
During the dialogue, ideas were exchanged about projects implemented in mutual cooperation with the United States, work to develop English language teaching in Uzbekistan, and issues of taking existing relations to a new level were discussed.
In particular, the rector of the university, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, expressed his suggestions on the issues of inviting native speakers from the United States, implementing various projects related to this area, as well as organizing a traditional international conference.
