Trip to Samarkand

In order to develop domestic tourism in our country and encourage students to study our historical monuments, on December 10 professors and teachers of UzSWLU, foreign professors and students, university technical staff and active students traveled to Samarkand region under the auspices of the university.

During the trip, the Mirzo Ulugbek observatory, Shokhi Zinda, Gori Amir mausoleums, and the grave of our respected first president Islam Karimov were visited in the company of guides.

Also, a lunch was organized under the auspices of the university, and Samarkand plov was served.

Professors and students acquired a lot of interesting knowledge about the historical monuments of our country. The last destination of the trip was Registan Square.
