A meeting was held between the rector of the UzSWLU, I. Tukhtasinov and First Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Director of Preschool Education Agency A. Shin.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of French language teaching in preschool educational institutions.

In particular, they agreed to establish a pilot project to teach children the French language in several preschool educational organizations located in the city of Tashkent, conducting research in the field of French language teaching methodology, and organise supporting seminars and conferences related to the scientific directions of the two institutions, as well as cooperation in such areas as the creation of joint textbooks and training manuals. At the end of the meeting, an agreement on educational cooperation was signed between the Preschool Education Agency under the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
