Visit

On March 5, representatives of the "Council of World Muslim Societies" delegation visited UzSWLU.

The delegation consisting of Director General of the World Council of Muslim Societies Khalid Khalifa Al-Kaabi, President of the International Organization "Teachers Without Borders" Dr. Muhammad Al-Obaidli, Vice President of the International Organization "Teachers Without Borders" Dr. Nasr Arif, Assistant Secretary General of the World Council of Muslim Societies Umar Al-Bariki, Manager of Protocol Management Rashid Al-Nuaimi and photographer Fahd Jamil was welcomed by representatives of the university administration.

At the beginning, the guests visited the kitchen, sports complex, translation faculty, IRC and the hall to familiarize themselves with the university campus.

After that, a bilateral meeting was organized. The rector of the university, I. Tukhtasinov, informed the members of the delegation about the activities of UzSWLU and the teaching of the Arabic language. Khalid Khalifa Al-Ka'bi's information about the activities of the council was also heard.

At the meeting, several issues like support in the development of relations with the universities of Arab countries such as Egypt, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and the Sultanate of Oman: exchange of students and teachers, allocation of grants through various funds for improving the qualifications of Arabic language teachers, development of cooperation in the scientific field, exchange of researchers of higher education institutions, hiring native speakers at UzSWLU through the "Teachers Without Borders" international organization, allocating educational literature, national costumes and musical instruments for the Arabic language center, translating the works of famous classical writers into Uzbek and Arabic languages were discussed.
