Dissertation Defense Held at the Academic Council Meeting

On May 14, the 17th meeting of the Academic Council DSc.03/30.12.2019.Fil.27.01 authorized to award academic degrees under the Uzbekistan State World Languages University was held.

The agenda of the meeting included the defense of the dissertation by Sohiba Mustafoevna Begmatova for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences, specializing in 10.00.04 – “Languages and Literatures of European, American, and Australian Peoples,” on the topic “The Artistic Specificity of Kazuo Ishiguro’s Dystopian Novels.”

The rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, participated in the defense.

The defense process was conducted in an open and constructive manner with the participation of council members, opponents, and guests. At the conclusion of the event, the council members adopted a positive decision regarding the dissertation.
