Khamrahanova Nasiba Nuriddinovna is a methodologist of the Master’s Department.

 

Master's studies at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages have been carried out since 1999.

The Master's Department as a structural unit of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages was established in accordance with Paragraph 5 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 190 of September 10, 2007 "On measures to further improve the activities of the master's degree in the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan and increase its efficiency" and in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education No. 34 dated February 18, 2008. 

Currently, the activities of the Master’s department are carried out on the basis of two staff members (head of the department and methodologist).

In accordance with the objectives of the national model of training in higher education institutions and trends in socio-economic development of the country, the purpose of the master's department is to organise the training of highly qualified masters who have deeply mastered professional, legal, pedagogical and psychological knowledge in the relevant specialty and are aware of their responsibility to society, the state and family.

The Master’s Department together with the departments and faculty dean's offices is entrusted with the following tasks:

- assistance in the organisation and provision of the educational process for the preparation of masters, quality control of their education and training;

- ensuring the conduct of educational and research work;

- coordination and monitoring of the activities of all departments of the university on master's training;

- systematic monitoring of the progress of education and employment of masters, analysis and preparation of regular reports on master's training.

The process of studying in the Master’s Department is carried out in accordance with the adopted regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan: The Law "On Education", "National Training Program", Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Measures to Further Improve the System of Learning Foreign Languages" dated 10.12.2012. PP-1875; Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to improve the activities of the Uzbek State University of World Languages" dated 23.05.2013. PP-1971; Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further improve and improve the efficiency of the master’s degree in the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan" dated 10.09.2007. No. 190; Resolution No. 36 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 2, 2015 "On further improvement and efficiency of master's degree in higher education institutions, strengthening the quality of personnel training and their competitiveness"; Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further develop the higher education system" dated April 20, 2017 No. PQ-2909; Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Approval of the Concept of Higher Education Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030" dated 08.10.2019. UE-5847; Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to introduce new principles of management in the system of higher and secondary specialised education" dated 11.07.2019. PP-4391; Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to improve the system related to the organisation of the educational process in higher education institutions" of 31.12.2020 No. 824, orders and decisions of the Board of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders of the Rector and decisions of the University Council, as well as the approved charter of the Master’s Department.

Graduates of the Master’s Department of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages carry out their pedagogical and research activities in general education, secondary specialised, professional and higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. At the same time, graduates of the master’s degree proved themselves as leading specialists, working in public administration bodies, international organisations, tourism sector and in a number of ministries and departments.

Master’s studies at the university are carried out in 18 specialties in accordance with the quotas of admission under state grants and on a paid-contract basis. Master's specialties are assigned to 12 leading departments of the university.
