A Meeting on “Combating Ignorance Through Enlightenment” Was Held

Today, a meeting was held at the Uzbekistan  State World Languages  University in cooperation with the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the themes “Combating Ignorance Through Enlightenment” and “The Primacy of Human Dignity and Rights – the Foundation of Development.”

The event was opened by Valijon Sadiyev, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Enlightenment Work at the Uzbek State University of World Languages.

Following the opening, Deputy Chairwoman of the Committee on Religious Affairs, Matlyuba Manafovna Kakhkharova, delivered a speech. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of broadening young people's worldview, fostering critical thinking, and combating harmful ideologies and foreign influences through enlightenment. She also highlighted that respect for human rights and freedoms is a key factor in national progress.
