An international scientific-practical conference was organized on the topic "Actual issues of Romano-Germanic linguistics".

On 5 th October in the main building of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University , the Department of Theoretical Sciences of the French Language organized an international scientific-practical conference on the topic "Actual issues of Romano-Germanic linguistics".
The rector of the university, professor Ilkhom Tukhtasinov, who opened the conference, spoke about the specific rules and problems of translation and gave his recommendations to future translators.
Professors of several prestigious universities in Uzbekistan, as well as professors of Turkey's Selçuk University and Azerbaijan University of Languages participated in the event and gave lectures on linguistics and translation theory.
The conference was devoted to current topics such as modern translation studies, comparative and comparative linguistics, lexicography, phraseography, terminography, educational lexicography, computer and corpus linguistics, modern methods of teaching foreign languages, digital technologies.
