Indian Students Undergoing Internship at Uzbekistan State World Languages University

In accordance with the cooperation agreement signed with Banasthali University (India), six 3rd-year students from the university are undergoing an internship at Uzbekistan State World Languages University from May 12 to May 25, 2025, as part of an academic exchange program.

The participating students are:

  1. Malan Bhavna

  2. Kashish Kushwaha

  3. Kapoor Riya

  4. Garg Kashish

  5. Sharma Vedanshi

  6. Shekhawat Tanya Singh

Two students arrived in Tashkent on May 10, and the remaining four arrived on May 12. They were accommodated in the university dormitory. The Department of Translation Studies of Romance-Germanic Languages under the Faculty of Translation Studies was assigned to supervise them. A special academic and practical program was developed for the students, and responsible coordinators were appointed.

During the internship, the students visited various attractions in Tashkent. On May 18, a one-day excursion to Samarkand was organized.

 

 

Today, on May 21, the university rector, Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, met with the international students.

During the meeting, the students were presented with specially prepared certificates and souvenirs. The rector emphasized the opportunities available at UzSWLU and the importance of academic exchange programs, and extended an invitation to the Indian students to return for the Summer School, as well as for bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.
