National customs show the nation

Today, UzSWLU organized a spiritual and educational event called "Our national costumes show the nation" on the initiative of the women's advisory council of the university.

Rector of the university Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov took part in this event, which was organized in order to show the unique national costumes of all parts of our country and to further increase the love for nationality among the youth.

The rector of the university, who opened the event, said that the national dress is the image of the nation, the expression of national pride. He also emphasized the need to pay great attention to the fact that our nation's thousand-year-old past, ancient customs and traditions, taste, aesthetic views, and unique features are embodied in our national dress, and to widely promote the beauty and charm of national dress among young people.

The uniqueness of the event was that all the participating girls took part in their favorite national costumes. Also, exhibitions of national costumes of each region were organized.
