Representative of the Faculty of Eastern Philology of UzSWLU Participates in International Forum

On May 29, the “International Forum on the Integration of Education and Industry between China and Central Asian Countries” was held in Nanjing, People’s Republic of China. The event was organized by Jiangsu Phoenix International Publishing House and Nanjing Polytechnic Institute in cooperation with Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The forum was attended by representatives from various Central Asian countries, as well as the head of the Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Shanghai, Shukurlo Turmatov.

Shahnoza Hakimova, Head of the Department of Chinese Philology at the Faculty of Eastern Philology of UzSWLU, participated in the forum with a presentation titled “Current Issues in Teaching Chinese Grammar to Uzbek Students and Their Solutions.”

As part of the forum, a new textbook titled Chinese Language in the Workplace, co-authored by Chinese writer Wang Xia and Shahnoza Hakimova, was officially presented.

The forum also included discussions on signing a memorandum of cooperation between UzSWLU and Jiangsu Phoenix International Publishing House, as well as plans to publish more educational materials jointly with Chinese authors in the future.
