Representatives of Keimyung University of the Republic of Korea visited UzSWLU.

On April 17, representatives of Keimyung University of the Republic of Korea visited UzSWLU.

The guests, consisting of Mr. Song Jung Kim, Vice President for International Cooperation of Keimyung University, Pyojong Kim, International Relations Department Specialist, and Park Sunjin, were welcomed by H. Yuldashev, Head of the International Relations Department, and D. Djuraev, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology.

The visit started with a bilateral meeting. In it, the university rector of UzSWLU I.M. Tukhtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of International Relations Department H. Yuldashev, Head of the Department of Korean Language Ji Moon Gun and Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology D. Djurayev participated.

At the beginning of the meeting, Rector I. Tokhtasinov's information about UzSWLU's activities, international cooperation and teaching of the Korean language, as well as information, presentation and suggestions of Son Jung Kim about Keimyun University were heard.

After that, there was an exchange of ideas, the organization of teacher training and internships at Keimyung University, the allocation of grants for students and researchers, the improvement of the work of the Korean Language Center, including technical tools (equipment and software for simultaneous translation), educational and methodological literature, national dress. and musical instruments, providing with attributes related to Korean culture, attracting qualified professors and teachers from Keimyung University to UzSWLU, opening a TOPIC test center for the Korean language at UzSWLU were discussed.
