Roundtable discussion.

On March 30, UzDJTU organized a roundtable discussion with the rector of Profi University in Tashkent, scientist, doctor of psychology, professor, member of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, academician Shoumarov Gayrat Bakhromovich.

Rector of the university Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov and representatives of the university management, professors and teachers and students took part in the event. The rector opened the event. After that, the guest of the event Shoumarov Gayrat Bakhromovich made a speech on the topic "Education, research, experience and towards a promising future" and shared his scientific and life experiences.

The roundtable was full of interesting questions and answers.

For information: Shoumarov Ghairat Bakhromovich worked as the rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University from 2002 to 2008, and as the Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 2008 to 2010. For many years, he worked as an adviser to the Minister of Pre-School and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Association of Psychologists of Uzbekistan was founded in 2000 on the initiative of Ghairat Bakhromovich, and he headed this association for many years. From 2003 to 2010, he was the chairman of the "Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan" friendship society.

Ghairat Shoumarov is the author of more than 400 scientific works, he was the scientific supervisor of more than 40 candidates of sciences, scientific consultant to 10 doctors of science. In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Approval of Full Members of the Academy of Sciences" dated December 23, 2023, Shoumarov Gayrat Bakhromovich was confirmed as a full member of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and was awarded an academic title.
