Study Conducted on the Availability of Educational Materials at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages

On May 19, members of a working group established under Order No. 146 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation dated April 28, 2025, visited the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. The visit was part of the initiative to assess the creation and publication of educational materials in higher education institutions and to evaluate the availability of textbooks for various subjects.

During the visit, the working group thoroughly examined the processes of creating and publishing educational materials at the university, the availability of key textbooks included in current academic curricula, the allocation of internal funds for textbook publishing, the implementation of an incentive system for authors, and the extent to which subjects are provided with textbooks in accordance with the updated educational classifier.

Additionally, an analysis was carried out on the digitization of academic and scientific literature available in the university’s information-resource center, its accessibility to students and teachers, and the efficiency of its use.
