Uzbekistan State University of World Languages is in the international ranking for the first time!

The working group of the international rating of the University was established with the following composition:
Gulandom Boqieva - doctor of philological sciences, professor, scientific works and innovations vice-rector (initiator) - group coordinator;
Daughter of Ergasheva Guli Ismail - doctor of philological sciences, professor - group leader,
Khushvaktova Khusnobad Solievna - doctor of pedagogy, associate professor, head of department - group member
Rakhmonov Azizkhan Bositkhanovich - doctor of pedagogy, associate professor, deputy dean - group member
Muradkasimova Kamola Shukhratovna - doctor of pedagogy, associate professor - group member.
The working group carries out its activities based on the goals and tasks assigned to it went and did the following:
1. UzDJTU profile was opened on the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) platform;
2. ESG (Environmental, Social, Governmental) Metrics of QS international rating system and Information from the 31 criteria outlined in the Graduate Employability requirements prepared and uploaded.
3. Seminar trainings aimed at using the Scopus database for professors and teachers were organized. Meeting the requirements of the Subject Ranking of the QS international rating system subscribed to the Scopus database in order to provide 30 trainers were trained on publishing articles in Scopus journals and more than 150 seminar trainings for all university professors and doctoral students was held.
4. QS to all professors and teachers working in 47 departments of the university 18 seminar trainings were held for one week on the specific features of the international system.
5. One of the requirements of QS is the presence of research institutes in universities 8 scientific research institutes were opened (Theoretical and applied linguistics ITI; ITI of Literary Studies; ITI of translation studies; Methodology of teaching foreign languages ITI; ITI of Media and Communication; Institute of Ecology; Validation ITI; Social processes learning ITI). Another requirement of QS was the availability of laboratories. This is on demand in response, scientific laboratories of researchers (18 ITILs) were established was made and is operating. University of World Languages of Uzbekistan THE(Times Higher Education) Impact Rankings world is also participating in the rating. This rating direction is 17 Sustainable of the UN Social conducted in the university area in accordance with the Development Goals (BRM). measures, cultural-educational, financial and economic work, place in educational activities and of course, it is measured by scientific research activity. Information about the work carried out at the university was prepared for the four objectives and loaded.

On June 1, 2023, the prestigious rating organization of Great Britain - "Times Higher Education" Uzbekistan in the ranking of "THE Impact Rankings" published by the agency 47 higher educational institutions of the republic were noted. For the first time in this list, the State World University of Uzbekistan is 1001+ overall recorded the result and achieved the following indicators according to BRM: BRM 4 on the objective "Ensure comprehensive and equitable quality education".

Ranked 1001+:
BRM 5 "Ensuring gender equality and the rights and opportunities of all women expansion" ranked 300+ in the target: BRM 6 “Availability and reasonable access to water and sanitation for all providing access” achieved 400+ indicators on the target. This is the result of the joint work of the university team!
