The delegation, headed by the rector of UzSWLU Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, met with the adviser to the Algerian Minister of Higher Education and Science Research Miloud Fathalla on February 22. 

 

 

During the course of the meeting, the views were exchanged on the meetings being organized in higher education institutions in the Republic of Algeria, the issues being discussed and future cooperation. 

 

 

The Algerian side has stated that students studying Arabic and French at UzSWLU can organize short-term and 1 semester-long studies, while opportunities for teachers to be admitted to skills training practices. 

 

 

During the meeting, Alisher Navoi's work was considered, as well as information about the future creation of secular great personality at the University of Algeria-2, and the adviser to the minister was presented with Alisher Navoi's work “Hayrat ul-abror”. 

 

 

In the second half of the same day, the UzSWLU group visited the higher Normal School of Buzurea (Ecole Normale Supérieure de Bouzaréah Alger) in Algeria. 

 

 

This higher education school is the oldest educational institution in the Republic of Algeria and trains pedagogical personnel for primary and general secondary educational institutions. 

 

 

It is taught by 360 faculty members to 5,000 students. Basically, it trains teachers in 6 areas: Arabic, French, English, history-geography, philosophy and physical educationand there are 6 laboratories. During the undergraduate period, it takes 3 or 4 years, depending on the direction of studies, has a master's degree as well as a doctorate. 

Got acquainted with the library of the Higher School, studied educational audiences and the conditions created in them. 

 

 

This training camp also provided information on the possibilities of accepting young people studying Arabic, French and English at UzSWLU and cooperation in the field of scientific research, thinking about conducting joint scientific research, publishing articles, a cooperation agreement was signed between this higher education institution and UzSWLU.
