On October 9, teachers of the English Language Teaching Methodology Department No. 3 of the English Faculty at UzSWLU, N.A. Sultonova and Sh.B. Samanova, visited Student Dormitory No. 2.

During the visit, the responsible staff familiarized themselves with the students’ living conditions and organized a roundtable discussion on the topic "Negative Consequences of Early Marriage."

The main purpose of the discussion was to help female students understand the concept of family, as a vital part of society based on legal, economic, and moral relationships. The session also aimed to explain the importance of raising a physically and mentally healthy generation, why this issue has become a matter of national policy, and the necessity of preserving sacred traditions passed down through generations.

In particular, the discussion highlighted the negative outcomes of early marriage: young people being unable to fully enjoy life like their peers, the inability to understand or handle family responsibilities, psychological issues, complicated pregnancies among underage girls, and the increasing global rate of maternal deaths among young mothers—supported by real facts and statistics.

The female students gained valuable insights and drew meaningful conclusions from the discussion.
