The Procurement and Supply Department is a structural unit of the Uzbek State University of World Languages and operates based on current legislation, relevant orders of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the University Council, the University Charter, Internal Labor Regulations, Code of Ethics, and this regulation.
Main tasks and areas of activity of the department:
• Conducting, controlling, regulating, and organizing procurement-related activities;
• Ensuring the rational, economical, and efficient use of allocated financial resources in procurement;
• Adhering to principles of transparency and openness during procurement processes;
• Taking all necessary measures to avoid conflicts of interest in procurement;
• Ensuring cost-effectiveness and value proportionality of goods (works, services) in procurement;
• Organizing reasonable and economical procurement methods within optimal timeframes;
• Monitoring contracts and agreements made within the scope of procurement;
• Analyzing market positions of goods, including price, quality, and demand compliance;
• Receiving, storing, and distributing material goods, rational placement within the university, and ensuring adherence to storage rules.
