On September 3, the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology of Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted a festive ceremony to welcome its first-year students.
The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, A. Nasirov. The Dean of the Faculty, Khakimov Khamidulla Inamovich, also delivered a speech, wishing students success in the new academic year and providing information about the conditions created at the faculty as well as upcoming scientific projects.
The faculty’s professors and the students’ parents also took part in the event, extending their warm wishes to the new students.
At the end of the ceremony, students with the highest entrance scores were awarded certificates, while their parents received letters of appreciation from the university administration.
