On 3rd September, the Faculty of English Philology 1, Faculty of English Philology 2, Faculty of English Philology 3, and the Faculty of Translation of Uzbekistan State World Languages University held a festive ceremony to welcome first-year students.

The event was opened by the rector of the university, Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov. In his speech, the rector sincerely congratulated the youth on the start of the new academic year, emphasizing the importance of this responsible stage of student life, scientific research, and mastering foreign languages in depth.

The deans of the faculties, professors, and the students’ parents participated in the ceremony, extending their best wishes to the students. The deans also provided detailed information about the academic year’s plans, educational programs, and the opportunities created for students.

At the end of the event, students with the highest entrance scores and their parents were presented with letters of appreciation by the university administration.
