Another Dissertation Discussion Held

On July 14, 2025, a scientific seminar was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The session featured a discussion of the doctoral dissertation prepared by Sherali Ibrohimovich Shokirov for the degree of Doctor of Philological Sciences (DSc) in the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature Studies, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies. The dissertation is titled:
“Symmetric and Asymmetric Relations in the Perception of Typologically Different Languages.”

During the discussion, the researcher presented the findings of his study, highlighted its novelty, and provided well-reasoned answers to questions from the seminar participants.
