Another Key Step in International Cooperation: UzSWLU Delegation at the University of Insubria

A delegation from the Faculty of Translation Studies of Uzbekistan State World Languages University visited one of Italy's prestigious higher education institutions — the University of Insubria.

The university leadership warmly welcomed the delegation and held an important meeting to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation. During the meeting, both sides presented overviews of their institutions’ activities, key academic directions, and international relations.

The following agreements were reached as a result of the meeting:

• The University of Insubria proposed to allocate grants for organizing one-month seminars for UzSWLU instructors in two areas: Arabic language and ecology (one instructor per field);

• Joint participation in Erasmus+ projects and the promotion of collaborative initiatives;

• Establishment of student exchange programs and development of academic mobility;

• Development of plans to organize internships at UzSWLU for master's students from the University of Insubria.

Note: Currently, 10 UzSWLU students studying Italian language are continuing their studies at the University of Insubria for one semester on a grant basis.
