Based on the information submitted to the “Masofata’limbot” by a student of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, the following has been reviewed and clarified:
According to Paragraph 41, Chapter 8 of the Regulation “On the Procedure for Implementing the Credit-Modular System in the Educational Process of Higher Education Institutions,” approved by Resolution No. 824 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 31, 2020, the following is stated:
> “A student who misses 25 percent or more of the total allocated classroom hours for a subject without a valid reason shall be excluded from that subject, not admitted to the final assessment, and considered as not having acquired the corresponding credits for the subject.”
Taking the above into account, the administration of each faculty is required to publish, prior to the start of final examinations, a list of students who have missed more than 25 percent of classes for a subject without a valid excuse, for students’ information.
Information circulating on social media under titles such as “List of students who have not paid tuition and those not allowed to take final exams (only those marked in red)” specifically refers to students who have missed more than 25 percent of classroom hours for a particular subject without a valid reason and therefore are not permitted to take the final exam.
Additionally, as part of ongoing analytical work on the employment statistics of graduating students studying on a state grant basis, it has been recommended to submit tripartite agreements with current employers.
We hereby inform you that this process has no impact on students’ admission to final examinations.
