Cooperation agreements were signed between the Uzbekistna State World Languages University of and a number of prestigious universities of the Republic of Tajikistan.

On April 15, within the framework of the II forum of rectors of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan-Tajikistan, the rector of UzSWLU I. Tukhtasinov and the rectors of the following 5 higher educational institutions of Tajikistan established mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education, science and culture. Meetings were organized on training and development:

Tajikistan International University of Foreign Languages;
Tajikistan State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayniy;
Khojanda State University;
Tajikistan State University of Law, Business and Politics;
Kolob State University named after Abu Abdullah Rudaki.

The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen friendly relations between the peoples of the two brotherly countries, to develop mutual cooperation in various fields of education and science.

In order to implement educational, fundamental and scientific-practical projects during the event, exchange of teachers and scientific researchers, practice, internship, scientific publications, educational-methodical and scientific literature available in library funds and information-resource centers of the parties. Beneficial agreements were reached on issues of cooperation in such areas as the exchange of audiovisual and other materials.
