Cooperation Between Uzbekistan State World Languages University and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia

On October 25, a productive meeting was held between the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI).

The meeting was attended by UzSWLU Rector Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Dean of the Faculty of English Philology No. 1 G. Ergasheva, Chief Specialist of the International Cooperation Department V. Amanov, as well as UPI Rector Professor Dr. Didi Sukyadi and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance Professor Dr. Vanessa Gaffar.

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:

• Conducting joint scientific research and opportunities for co-authorship in Scopus-indexed journals;

• Implementing joint educational programs and academic mobility projects;

• Opportunities for professional development of teaching and academic staff;

• Organizing Summer/Winter Camp programs.

The outcomes of the cooperation are expected to create new opportunities for students and faculty members in the future.
