Familiarization with the Information Center for Student Dormitories and Rental Housing at UzSWLU

On August 16, the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages held an introductory meeting regarding the activities of the Information Center for Student Dormitories and Rental Housing.

During the visit, Khurshid Eshov, a representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, closely examined the center’s operations, services provided to students, and opportunities for student accommodation.

He also reviewed the conditions created for students in the university dormitories, the spiritual and educational environment, as well as the sports and household service systems, and gave high praise to the reforms being implemented in this area.

The Information Center plays an important role in assisting students with accommodation, providing information on rental housing, guidance, and documentation processes. Currently, the university has 6 dormitories with a total capacity of 3,285 beds. In addition, partnerships have been established with 1,575 rental apartments, allowing accommodation for up to 9,000 students.

Khurshid Eshov highly praised the work carried out at the center and in the dormitories, emphasizing the importance of initiatives aimed at supporting students socially and ensuring they study in comfortable conditions.
