Familiarization with the Student Accommodation Headquarters

On August 4, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Otabek Mahkamov visited the Uzbek State University of World Languages to become acquainted with the operations of the Student Dormitory and Rental Housing Information Center, as well as the process of admitting and assisting students.

 

 

During the visit, the Deputy Minister, together with the university’s rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, reviewed the center’s operations, including student registration and targeted housing referral efforts.

Otabek Mahkamov provided his feedback and recommendations on improving the efficiency of the student registration and accommodation assignment processes.

For reference, the main task of this center is to provide informational support and practical assistance to newly admitted students in obtaining accommodation, including placement in dormitories and rental housing.

 

 

Currently, there are 6 student dormitories operating at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, with a total capacity of 3,285 students. Additionally, partnerships have been established with 1,575 rental housing providers. In total, these resources are expected to provide accommodation for nearly 9,000 students.
