Interregional Conference of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and Russia Continues at Namangan State University
The interregional conference involving rectors from higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation is steadily continuing at Namangan State University.
As part of the event, the third panel session was held under the theme “Cooperation of Science, Education, and Society: The Role of Language and Culture in the Strategic Partnership between Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.” The session was co-moderated by Professor Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, and Professor Nikita Vladimirovich Gusev, Rector of the A.S. Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.
The panel was attended by representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Council of Young Scientists, and the heads of leading universities from Uzbekistan and Russia. They exchanged views on pressing topics such as the integration of language, culture, science, and education, globalization processes in education, and prospects for international cooperation.
In his speech, Professor Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov highlighted the deepening cooperation in higher education between Uzbekistan and Russia, emphasizing that language and culture serve as the primary bridges in this collaboration.
During the session, a number of significant proposals were presented to enhance cooperation in the fields of science and research, including:

expansion of faculty exchange systems,

initiation of joint scientific projects,

improvement of support mechanisms for young scientists.
Professor Tuxtasinov's initiatives were met with strong interest and high recognition by the conference participants.
