Korean Language Olympiad

On November 22, students of the Faculty of Oriental Philology at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, under the supervision of Na Sahm Il, a lecturer at the Department of Korean Philology, participated in the Korean Language Olympiad among Central Asian countries held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.

A total of 112 talented students from 6 countries of the region took part in this prestigious competition, demonstrating their knowledge and abilities. The Olympiad not only promotes the in-depth study of the Korean language but also helps strengthen cultural ties among the youth of Central Asia.

 

 

In the scientific research competition held for master's and doctoral students, independent researcher and lecturer of the Department of Korean Philology, Iroda Abdiyeva, distinguished herself with her thorough preparation and research work, winning the nomination for “Best Presentation.”

Additionally, in the “Public Speaking and Test” category held among undergraduate students, Nafisa Qudratova, a student of group FKOR-2210, honorably represented our university and achieved an excellent result by securing second place.

 

 

These achievements once again confirm the high quality of Korean language education at our university and demonstrate our students’ dedication to learning and their competitiveness on the international stage.
