"Literature Night" Online Event Held Within the "Essential 90 Days" Project

On July 15, 2025, the Department of English Language Teaching Methodology 1 organized an online event titled "Literature Night" via the ZOOM platform, as part of the "Essential 90 Days" project.

The event was held under the slogan “Literature – A Mirror of the Past and Present.” Speakers included faculty members from the English Language Teaching Methodology 1 Department: Badia Turakhonova, Roziya Usmonova, Maftuna Kuchkarova, Gulmira Juraboyeva, as well as Associate Professor of the Uzbek Language and Literature Department, Munira Sharipova.

The main aim of the event was to help students spend their free time meaningfully, to shed light on the stages of development of Uzbek and English literature up to the present day, to highlight the role of literature in our society, and to foster students’ interest in literature as a means of broadening their worldview.

Most importantly, based on the participants’ engagement and enthusiasm, it can be said that the event’s objectives were successfully achieved to a significant extent.
