Major International Conference Begins at Namangan State University!

Today, May 22, 2025, a significant international event — the Conference of Rectors of Interregional Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation — kicked off at Namangan State University.

The purpose of the event is to strengthen strategic educational cooperation between the two countries, expand research collaboration, and outline promising plans for faculty and student exchanges.

Representatives of Uzbekistan State World Languages University are also actively participating in this prestigious event. The conference is being attended by the university's rector, Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov; the Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology, Associate Professor A. Rakhmonov; the Director of the Branch Center for Retraining and Professional Development of Pedagogical Personnel, Professor J. Abduganieva; and the head of the department of the center, K. Alimova.

The international conference provides a platform for exchanging views on pressing issues in higher education, proposing new initiatives, and taking mutual cooperation to a new level.
