Meeting.

On April 16, an event took place at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages involving the leaders of higher education institutions from Uzbekistan and Spain. The event was attended by the temporary representative of the Spanish Embassy in Uzbekistan, the Spanish Organization for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE) under the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, leaders of our Republic's higher education institutions, the Erasmus+ office of the European Commission in Uzbekistan, and the leaders of the “El-yurt umidi” foundation. Following the plenary session, leaders of higher education institutions from both countries discussed issues of mutual cooperation. Moreover, agreements were signed between the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages and the universities of the Kingdom of Spain in Seville, Granada, Almeria, Huelva, Salamanca, Valladolid, and San Jorge on student and teacher exchanges, research development, faculty development, and the implementation of joint international programs and projects. At the end of the event, a cultural program featuring Spanish and Uzbek national dances and songs was presented to the participants. At the conclusion of the event, the guests expressed their satisfaction with contributing to the expansion of cultural exchange, emphasizing that such meetings play an important role in strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries. After the official part of the event, the guests participated in a feast where they were introduced to Uzbek national dishes. This feast created an atmosphere of intercultural dialogue, where guests exchanged ideas and agreed on potential new projects and collaborations for the future.
