A Meeting Held at UzSWLU with Representatives of “RealEnglish” and “EasyEnglish” Companies

On October 9–10, 2025, the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages hosted meetings with Mr. Nigel Killick, the founder and Managing Director of the British company RealEnglish, and Mr. Yerbol Suleymenov, the head of the company EasyEnglish.

The event was attended by the Rector of UzSWLU, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov; Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Akromjon Nasirov; Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Makhmudjon Chutpulatov; Vice-Rector for Finance and Economics, Mansur Khamrayev; Head of the International Cooperation Department, Khikmatillo Yuldashev; and Chief Accountant, Khayot Nazarov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the potential of using the EasyEnglish mobile application in English language teaching. It was emphasized that this platform allows students and teachers to learn English efficiently and flexibly anytime and anywhere, and at various proficiency levels.

EasyEnglish announced its intention to offer the application on a commercial basis to UzSWLU — the country's leading higher education institution in English language instruction — with plans to recommend it to other universities in Uzbekistan after successful piloting.

In the initial meeting, proposals regarding the financial terms of using the application were discussed. Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov noted that making the application available at discounted, preferential rates would help popularize it across Uzbekistan.

During the second meeting, Mr. Nigel Killick expressed readiness to offer the application at a more affordable price. The parties reached a preliminary agreement to purchase the program after its trial period, and agreed to finalize payment terms and schedules in consultation with relevant specialists.
