Meeting Held at USWLU with Representative of Malaysia’s INTI International University

On June 16, Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted a meeting with Mr. Choo Wou Onn, Vice-Rector of Malaysia’s INTI International University and Director of the Center for International Relations and Cooperation.

The event was attended by USWLU Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation O. Yusupov, Head of the International Cooperation Department Kh. Yuldashev, and Head of the Second Foreign Languages Department A. Yuldashev.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the establishment of student and faculty exchange programs, strengthening cooperation in scientific research, and organizing joint academic conferences.

Vice-Rector A. Nasirov expressed gratitude to Mr. Choo Wou Onn for his practical support in organizing a two-month academic program for 28 USWLU students under the INTI grant initiative. He also presented proposals for forming a new student group for the upcoming academic year and improving their study and living conditions.

In response, Mr. Choo shared the university’s achievements in scientific fields and explained the publication process in international journals indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, and others. He also proposed co-hosting conferences.

During the meeting, both sides discussed expanding collaboration into other areas. At the conclusion, Mr. Choo was given a tour of the university’s infrastructure.
