New Academic Collaboration Established During UzSWLU Representative’s Visit to Moscow

Professor Gulnoz Hallieva, Head of the Department of World Literature at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, is currently on a working visit to Moscow.

During the visit, academic collaboration was established with the Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The UzSWLU representative also participated in an international conference dedicated to Anton Chekhov’s work and delivered a lecture on Comparative Literature to the institute's researchers.

As part of the program, on July 1–2, a topic for a joint Russia–Uzbekistan international competition was selected in collaboration with the “Peoples of Central Asia” Department of Moscow State University, and both sides agreed to participate together.

In addition, discussions were held with Turkology professors at MSU regarding the integration of online courses for students, with a focus on educational investment in Uzbekistan's academic system.

UzSWLU’s academic team plans to continue expanding such international collaborations in the future.
