On May 1, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Uzbekistan State World Languages University, the Tashkent City Sports Department, and the Tashkent Branch of the Uzbekistan Archery Federation.

The document aims to direct university students toward a healthy lifestyle, engage them in physical education and sports, and promote and develop archery, one of the national sports.

The cooperation includes organizing sports clubs and sections at the university, holding competitions, attracting qualified trainers, and effectively utilizing sports facilities.

The memorandum also outlines the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among students in higher education institutions and the active use of mass media and digital platforms to encourage youth participation in sports.

The signing ceremony was attended by UzSWLU Rector Ilkhomjon Tuhtasinov, Head of the Physical Education and Sports Department Elbek Ochilov, and other officials.
