Poetry night was held

On December 2, 2023, a poetry night was held online at the 300th anniversary of the birth of Maxtumkuli, in collaboration with the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and the Davlatmammed Ozadi Turkmen National Institute of world languages.

At the event organized on the theme “Treasure of wisdom – Makhtumkuli Firogiy", the vice-rector of UzSWLU for International Cooperation A.Nasirov, professors and students of the Department of Uzbek language and literature took part.

Students read Maxtumkuli's poems “Namasan”, “Ko’ring”, “Notable to the world”, “Il biläni”, “Neyläyin” “Don't leave this”, “Äleme belgidir” expressively in different languages, while the song “U nimadir”, based on Maxtumkuli's poem, was sung by students.

At the end of the event, vice-rector A.Nasirov and dean of the Turkmen National Institute of world languages Maral Nurliyeva thanked the organizers for the successful performance of the poetry night.

The need for such activities to serve the friendship of peoples, strengthen the scientific and creative cooperation of professors and students, and further expand the scale of collaborative activities in the future was emphasized.
