Recommendations for volunteer translators were given

As you know, on November 9-10, 2023, the "16th meeting of the leaders of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization" will be held in Tashkent. 160 experienced teachers and masters from the Uzbekistan State World Languages University who are fluent in English and Russian were selected to participate in this high-level meeting and act as translators.

Rector of the university Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov held a meeting with these volunteer participants today and gave them the following recommendations:

- You and the translators will also have meetings at the Cabinet of Ministers. You must arrive at all seminars and meetings on time without being late, strictly adhere to the culture of dress and communication;

- During trips with foreign guests, they may ask questions about historical and interesting places. Be prepared for possible questions;

- Save the phone number of a driver allocated to you and the assigned managers-employees and always keep in touch;

- Most importantly, never be late anywhere, if there are good reasons, warn the responsible persons in advance.
