Representatives of Sultan Idris University of Education of Malaysia visited UzSWLU

Today, January 26, representatives of Sultan Idris University of Education of Malaysia visited UzSWLU.

The Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Idris University of Education, Prof. Amin bin Muhammed Taff, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs and International Cooperation (Vice-Rector) Prof. Abdul Rahim bin Razalli, dean of the Faculty of Languages and Communication, Associate Professor Mazura Mastura binti Muhammed, were welcomed by the rector of UzSWLU, I.M. Tukhtasinov and representatives of the university administration welcomed him. A bilateral meeting was organized as part of the visit.

At the beginning of the meeting, rector I. Tukhtasinov provided information about the activities of UzSWLU, international cooperation and Malay language teaching. Following that, Amin bin Muhammed Taff's information and suggestions about the activities of Sultan Idris University were heard. Also, a discussions were held under following issues: improvement of Malay language teaching, allocation of computer, printer, country studies materials, Malay national costumes and musical instruments for the Malay language center, engaging of Malay language teachers to UzSWLU, Completion and publication of the Malay language textbook prepared together with Sultan Idris University specialists, organization of advanced training courses for Malay and English language teachers of UzSWLU, allocation of grants for graduate studies for students of the Malay language group, organization of international conferences, seminars and webinars and a discussion of proposals for participation and development of mutual cooperation. Consequently, the information and suggestions of Amin bin Muhammad Taff about the activities of Sultan Idris University were heard. After the discussion of mutual cooperation issues, gifts were exchanged.
