Representatives of the Faculty of Eastern Philology at UzSWLU Participated in a Training Aimed at Enhancing Korean Language Teachers' Qualifications
From June 23 to 25 this year, a training seminar for Korean language teachers titled “Sharing Teaching Methodologies Based on Practical Experience” was held at the Courtyard Tashkent by Marriott Hotel.
The event was officially opened by Abdurahim Nosirov, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Uzbek State University of World Languages (UzSWLU), and So Wansu, Deputy Director of KOICA’s Uzbekistan Office.
The program, held within the framework of a joint project by KOICA, KIDC, and Pyeongtaek University, involved 20 Korean language teachers from the Department of Korean Language, Faculty of Eastern Philology at UzSWLU.
During the training, engaging and informative lectures and presentations were delivered by:

Professor Yang Jiseon, Ph.D. in Korean Language and Literature, Sungkyunkwan University;

Professor Park Sang-woo, Head of the Korean Language Department at Ajou University in Tashkent, Master in International Relations from Korea University, Ph.D. from St. Petersburg State University;

Kim Ekaterina, a student of the Korean Language and Literature Faculty at Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University and teacher at the Korean Education Center;

And 8 KOICA volunteer lecturers: Na Jongib, Kim Minhee, Choi Yubeen, Kim Joohee, Park Soobin, Shin Su Geun, Yun Muhyeon, and Lee Eungyul.
