Scientific Seminar on “Public Diplomacy in the Digital Age”

On April 19, a scientific seminar titled “Public Diplomacy in the Digital Age” was held at the Youth Creativity Palace in Tashkent, organized by the Public Diplomacy Center of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. An interactive game was also held under the slogan “Socio-Humanitarian Cooperation Through the Eyes of Youth.”

The main goal of the event was to engage young people in public diplomacy projects, strengthen cooperation between local and foreign youth organizations and volunteers, and encourage the exchange of ideas via online communication platforms.

Students from five higher education institutions participated in the seminar. Among them, students of International Relations and Political Science from Uzbekistan State University of World Languages actively took part, showcasing their knowledge and potential in three teams.

The event’s honored guest, Natalia Viktorovna Zabolotskikh from Moscow (Deputy Chair of the General Council of the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia and Africa, political scientist and media technologist), highly praised the students' presentations and awarded them with souvenirs and certificates.
