Tashkent City Stage of the “Followers of Tomiris” Sports Competition Held

On May 15, the Tashkent city stage of the “Followers of Tomiris” sports competition was held at the sports complex of Tashkent State Medical University in accordance with Order No. 155 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation dated April 30. Winners of the preliminary university-level rounds participated in the event.

The “Zulfikor” team from the Faculty of English Philology achieved great success and proudly took second place.

The main goal of the “Followers of Tomiris” competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle among youth — especially female students — increase interest in sports, and nurture strong-willed, active, and leadership-oriented young women.

At the end of the competition, the winning team was awarded commemorative gifts by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
